We were approached to create a brand mark for a mixed martial arts studio that was newly opened. The owner is a Gracie-trained martial arts expert with many areas of expertise. He wanted to show both tradition as well as an edgy new vibe to his logo. We incorporated a stamp-like recreation of his family name into the championship brand. His students have won many championships so this was a very important aspect to the identity.
